Your personal commitment
The Code of Conduct is an integral part of all employment contracts. You are invited to follow the code of conduct in the spirit and content.
Who should have the code of conduct
The code of conduct applies to all directors of the board, managers, employees and consultants of the Company Faral SpA.
The duties of employees and associates
Read carefully the guidelines. Getting familiar with the contents, follow the directions and avoid infringements. If you have questions about the guidelines, contact your supervisor, the counsellor of your company (especially for legal issues) or the directors of the board.
Referent of trust
If a question does worry you much, but you are not willing to contact your immediate superior, the management or the Board of Directors, please contact a member of the Board of Directors of Faral SpA:

Any reserve concerning the observance of this Code of Conduct will be reviewed. This will involve the investigation of the facts. If necessary corrective actions will be implemented by management. Finally, the outcome will be communicated to the employee.
The duties of the management
In addition to the duties of all employees, managers are asked to commit themselves for the observance of the code of conduct and contribute to create an atmosphere of collaboration. The easiest and most effective for this to happen is that managers maintain an exemplary role in putting into practice the code of conduct.
Local additions to the Code of Conduct
For each company of the Faral Group, Faral can integrate this code of conduct with annexes. However, these additions should not in any way contradict this Code, or modify the content or the meaning and spirit.
Infringements of the Code of Conduct
Breaches of the code of conduct may result in disciplinary action.
The Code of Conduct
Every employee represents the company therefore :
· Behave in a professional manner and support the legitimate interest of society Faral.
· Avoid excessive gifts to customers.
· Refuse excessive gifts from suppliers.
· Point out to your supervisor any conflict between your personal interests and the interests of the company.
· Don’t use the confidential information to your advantage personnel.
Respect the property and rights of the owners
. Protecting the tangible and intangible assets of the company. These include confidential information about the company, customers, suppliers, about current projects and its intangible assets (know-how).
. Do not subtract activities that belongs to the company or for which the company bears the responsibility.
· Respects the intellectual property of competitors. Do not get information on competitors in illegal or unethical way.
Be reliable
· Keep your word, given orally or in writing, whether in relation to the employer, or business colleagues and partners.
Be frank and honest
· Do not deceive anyone.
· Communicate frankly and honestly with customers, suppliers, business partners, colleagues, employees, shareholders and the public.
. Do report with fairness and transparency.
· Behave in good faith.
Environment, Health and Safety
· Take care of the health, safety and privacy of employees in the workplace.
· Motivate employees adequately.
· Be sure that products do not endanger the health of colleagues and the safety of customers.
. Reduces pollution of the environment in a economically sustainable way.
· Keep in mind the environmental aspects into product development.
Correctness
· Please obey the dictates of fairness in all dealings and actions.
Laws and Regulations
· Respect the laws, directives, regulations and standards.
· Be sure not to be yourself or not to put the company in a position to break the law on money laundering. Do not accept cash. Refuse money from suspicious people, companies, banks.
Quality
· Strive to ensure that the performance (and service) meets and exceeds customer expectations regarding quality.
